Hong Kong's national netballers return to action at 3pm today, playing host to regional rivals Singapore in the second Hong Kong-Singapore Cup at the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Sports Centre.

The latest meeting between the sides comes a mere four months since the Nations Cup in September, where it was Connie Wong and co. who emerged with the sweetest of victories to the tune of 50-49.

While Wong will be sitting this one out, fellow co-captain Kate Jolly is highly optimistic about her team's prospects of claiming silverware from the visitors, who scored first blood by winning the inaugural edition of the Cup in February last year.

"The last time we played against Singapore was in Singapore in front of their home crowd and we managed to come away with a one goal win," said Jolly.

"Finally overcoming this barrier was hugely exciting for the team and our supporters watching from afar and this has been a great psychological boost for us that we plan on taking into the next game."

"To get a win on home turf against Singapore in front of our home crowd would be the icing on the cake."
