The 2018-19 Hong Kong Netball Association (HKNA) season is set to come to a thrilling conclusion at the Hong Kong Park Sports Centre this Saturday.
With league netball resuming normal service after the Four Nations in March, teams across a whopping 7 Divisions will now be looking to round off their respective campaigns with a final flourish ahead of the summer break.
The Premiership Grand Final clash will be between Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) Club and Sonics, both outstanding performers boasting enviable goal differences; Sonics have scored 175 and conceded 153, while Club let in a measly 100 and while letting loose an avalanche of 267 goals on the other end.
Hong Kong Football Club will find the odds stacked in their favour, having emerged victors on both occasions by virtue of 44-27 and 45-24 wins over their closest rivals this season.
Flying the HKCC flag will be the Devils, who face a testing proposition in the form of HKFC Whirlwinds in the Division One Grand Final.
A mere 2 points separated between Champions HKCC Devils from their Final opponents in the standings, though their goal differences stand at 158 and 94 respectively.
Their solitary encounter in the league saw HKCC Devils prevail 46-32 and the Whirlwinds will believe that a united team effort could well see them lay claim to the Division One crown.
