Now into its 14th edition, the ANZ International Touch Championship is set to welcome to a host of international and local teams to King's Park between August 2-4.

Sanctioned by the Hong Kong Rugby Union, the Hong Kong Touch Association and the Federation of International Touch, the tournament has generated global appeal and attracted sides hailing from South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and even as far as Fiji.

This year is no exception, with teams flying in from China, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines, competing in the Women's and Mixed category, as well as a special showcase featuring Hong Kong's very own Deaf Rugby squad playing against their Japanese counterparts.

Last year's tournament saw Hong Kong make history by hosting the first-ever Asia Women's Test matches, prevailing in a three-way battle with the Philippines and China to bag the series title.

It was a similarly joyous affair for the Men's and mixed representative squads, who put in impressive performances to top their respective divisions.

However, Philippine club side Unleashed FC were able to claim the ANZ ITC Club Competition Cup at the expense of local powerhouse T8, who will be looking to reinstate their dominance come August.
